2. Fair Usage Policy & Limits
To ensure high availability for all users globally, we enforce a fair usage limit on the free tier of our application:
- Standard Engine (OCR.Space): Limited to 5 queries per user session.
- Premium AI Engine (Sarvam AI): Limited to 2 queries per user session.
Attempting to bypass these local storage quotas via automated bots, scripts, or malicious exploitation will result in an IP ban.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload images that contain illegal, explicit, or highly sensitive confidential material.
- Infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.
- Overload or attempt to disrupt the integrity of our Cloudflare backend architecture.
4. Intellectual Property
The original design, aesthetic (Khadi Paper & Ink), frontend code, and branding elements ("Snap to Text") are the exclusive property of Snap to Text. The text extracted by the user belongs solely to the user or the original copyright holder of the uploaded document.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
While we use advanced AI (Sarvam AI) and standard OCR technology, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy in text extraction. Snap to Text is not responsible for any financial or academic losses resulting from misspelled words or misinterpreted handwriting by the AI.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Snap to Text, nor its developers or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website.
